Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and 0pay.in ("we", "us"). By using the website or the app, or by signing up, you agree to them. If you sign up for a business, you confirm that you can act for that business.
What 0pay.in does
0pay.in is software that lets businesses accept payments by Tap to Pay, UPI QR, payment links, website checkout, card EMI and subscriptions, and see them in one app. 0pay.in is not a bank or a payment aggregator. Payments are processed and settled by RBI-authorised payment aggregator partners, and their terms also apply to you when you take payments. You will see and accept them during sign-up.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and run a business that is lawful in India.
- The details and KYC documents you give must be true and current. We or our partners may ask for more documents at any time.
- Keep your login, OTPs and phone secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us at once at help@0pay.in if you think someone else has used your account.
Acceptable use
You must not use 0pay.in to:
- Sell anything illegal or restricted, or anything our payment aggregator partners prohibit.
- Collect money for goods or services you do not provide.
- Run fake or test transactions to move money, or split payments to get around limits.
- Copy, reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the app or website.
Fees and settlement
Pricing depends on the payment method and your business category. Our team shares your full pricing, including any one-time charges, before you start, and it is shown in the app. Fees are deducted from each settlement unless we agree otherwise in writing. Settlement timing is set by our payment aggregator partners and banks and is shown in the app. We may hold a settlement if a payment is under review for fraud, a chargeback or a legal order.
Refunds and chargebacks
You are responsible for refunds to your own customers and for chargebacks raised on your payments. The Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds work and when 0pay.in fees are refunded.
Our content
The 0pay.in name, logo, app, website and videos belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to use 0pay.in. Videos and screens on this website use sample names and amounts.
Availability and changes
We work to keep 0pay.in available, but it may sometimes be down for maintenance or because of a partner, bank or network outage. We may change or stop features. We will tell you about changes that affect your account.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit or lost business. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your account
You can close your account at any time by writing to help@0pay.in. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that our partners ask us to close. Money owed to you is settled after any refunds, chargebacks and fees are cleared.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first so we can try to resolve any dispute. If we cannot, the courts in India have jurisdiction.
