Who we are
This policy explains how 0pay.in ("we", "us") handles personal data. This policy covers the website 0pay.in, the 0pay.in app on Android, iPhone and web, and any call or message from our team. It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.
What we collect
When you ask for a callback on this website: your name, business name, mobile number, and if you give them, your email, business type and monthly collections. We also note the page you came from and campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source or gclid) so we know which ad brought you.
When you sign up and complete KYC: your mobile number, business PAN, bank account details and the other documents that RBI rules and our payment aggregator partners require.
When you take payments: the amount, time, method, status and reference of each payment, and the details your customer gives to pay, such as a name, phone number, email or UPI ID. We never see or store full card numbers, CVVs or UPI PINs. These go straight to the RBI-authorised payment aggregator.
Automatically: device and browser type, IP address, and pages visited, through cookies and similar tools (see Cookies below).
How we use it
- To call you back and help you set up 0pay.in.
- To verify your business (KYC) and meet anti-money-laundering rules.
- To process, settle and refund payments through our payment aggregator partners.
- To show your payments, settlements and reports in the app and in 0ai.
- To prevent fraud and keep accounts secure.
- To send service messages, such as receipts, settlement updates and security alerts.
- To measure which ads and pages work, so we spend less on ads that do not.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep callback requests for up to 24 months unless you become a customer. We keep account, KYC and transaction records for as long as your account is open and then for the period that RBI and tax laws require, which is usually at least 5 years after the account closes.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also withdraw consent, nominate someone to act for you, or make a complaint. Write to info@0pay.in from the email or phone number you gave us. We may keep some records where the law requires it. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the staff who need it, and card and UPI data is handled only by PCI DSS compliant payment aggregators. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
0pay.in is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell existing customers about important changes in the app or by email.
